If you have a heart for communications, media and the arts, and a desire to reach unreached peoples with your life, we want to invite you to join us at the Create International 2020 Vision Team.
There are many possibilities for partnering with us: use your media skills in missions by joining one of our Create centers as long-term staff, get a feel for the ministry by coming on as a short-term volunteer, get hands-on experience by doing your internship with us, or use the financial resources that God has given you to support the work of Create International in many areas of the world. We believe that God is inviting many people to work together with us to declare His glory to the nations.
Create International is a trans-national ministry of Youth With a Mission, staffed by committed Christians who have completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS). Our staff members come with a variety of backgrounds and skills. Some have already done a degree in media or graphic arts, and some come with a heart for missions and a desire to grow in their media skills.
The first step towards becoming a full-time staff member is to successfully complete a YWAM Discipleship Training School. Once you have finished your “DTS”, you may apply for a staff position with us, where you will be encouraged to attend one of our staff training programs.
We have ministry opportunities in the following areas: animation and comic book production, video and photography, digital video editing, art & graphic design, internet evangelism, website development, film directing, scriptwriting & research, audio recording and music, administration and accounting.
We are really excited about the possibility of you coming to work with Create International on a temporary volunteer basis. We believe that this could be a very fulfilling time of ministry for you and may help you to discover more about how God is leading you in the future. We also welcome interns who have practicum requirements for university programs. Create International is a pioneering ministry and each of our staff functions in many different areas of service. In the same way, all who volunteer with us serve in whatever area is needed.
We have internships available in the following areas:
Try your hand at producing music for cross-cultural video productions and for our ethnic and inspirational music libraries. Work alongside our vibrant video production team! A knowledge of Soundtrack Pro would be key.
Graphic Design / Web / IT Internship
How would you like the chance to contribute to evangelistic website development for unreached peoples? Work alongside our IT team! Experience using InDesign and Photoshop is a must.
How would you like to create short evangelistic videos? Use your skill in video editing to make short films that can influence millions of unreached peoples. Also come up with visual concepts to mobilize people to the frontiers. Experience with editing programs such as Final Cut Pro or Premiere would be extremely helpful.
Youth With A Mission is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), our purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known.
When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today, we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as “YWAMers”) of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grow into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.
YWAM has a decentralized structure that encourages new vision and the exploration of new ways to change lives through training, convey the message of the gospel and care for those in need. We are currently operating in more than 1000 locations in over 150 countries, with a staff of nearly 16,000.
Adopted by YWAM leaders worldwide. Everyone on earth has the right to:
- Hear and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Have a Bible in their own language.
- Have a Christian fellowship available nearby, to be able to meet for fellowship regularly each week, and to have Biblical teaching and worship with others in the Body of Christ.
- Have a Christian education available for their children.
- Have the basic necessities of life: water, food, clothing, shelter, and health care.
